happy mother’s day to all the beautiful mothers out there!!
meet jade and richard. two totally adorable high school sweethearts. their wedding is this july and i’m so excited. jade chose mint, gold, and white as her wedding colors. these are not only my business colors, but my favorite colors!! totally meant to be! ;)
keep an eye out for the film shots mixed into this session! :) so excited to be working with film again!
i just love bridal boudoir. and this girl.
laurie and everett are a dream couple. not only are they a gorgeous couple, but they are 100% head-over-heels in love with each other. and it shows.
a few weeks ago, laurie and everett scheduled an anniversary session with jessica lorren of jessica lorren photography. laurie is a sweet, sweet friend of mine, so she asked me if i could bring my camera along and snap some pictures before their session started. they were already dressed up, so why not make the most of it? :) laurie made some floral arrangements, and, with a little help from my fiancé, everett recreated their ceremony arch.
grab your tissue box guys…
on their 6 month anniversary, laurie and everett stood under their wedding arbor and reread their vows to each other.
look at how he looks at her!!
melt. my heart has melted.
i am in love with her dress by reem acra. look at all this french tulle!! *sigh*
i just sent off my first few rolls of film from some of my recent travels, and i love the results! i’m still far from where i want to be, but i love the results! :) the square shots were taken on my yashica-c twin lens, and the others on my mom’s 35mm canon with a zeiss lens. i just got my contax in the mail this week, and i cannot wait to start shooting it!
first up, our trip to aspen, colorado! my fiancé had never seen snow before, so this trip was very special and super fun! we stayed with one of my best friends, who had been working at the t lazy 7 ranch for the winter. :)
aspen is famous for the maroon bells. and i can see why. they take your breath away!
love his joy!!
meet casey. :) my world traveler-best friend. i never know where she’s going next, but i can always count on it being epic!
our second night in aspen, it was super foggy. so naturally, i grabbed my camera and took a trip through the back roads to follow the fog to some amazing views!
our last morning in aspen, we woke up to a fresh blanket of snow. it looked like we were in narnia. it was so beautiful.
every year in vegas, photographers from all over the world gather for a week long conference. i stayed with some friends who took me out to red rock canyon for a little photo session. the views out there are NOTHING like they are in south florida!
my first attempt at a triple exposure. i kinda like it. :)
…aaand an accidental double exposure that turned out kinda cool. what do you think? :)
and last, but not least. a photo adventure i took with some friends a few weeks ago to a cattle ranch in the middle of florida. every once in a while, a little change in scenery inspires me to try new things!
thanks for reminiscing with me through my travels on film. tune in soon for the digital travel post, and more film adventures! :)
